A tourist from Gurgaon has alleged that unidentified persons broke into her room at a guesthouse in Palolem and stole valuables worth over ₹2 lakh.
According to police, the incident occurred at Palolem Casa in Ourem, Canacona, where the woman was staying during her visit to Goa. The accused reportedly entered the room in her absence and decamped with a laptop, branded bags, jewellery, cash, and important documents.

The total loss has been estimated at approximately ₹2.37 lakh.
Police have registered a case against unknown persons and launched an investigation into the theft. Further inquiries are in progress to identify the culprits and recover the stolen items.
