Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that Goa has sufficient LPG within its allotted quota and that the current supply issues are expected to normalise within the next eight days.
Addressing the situation, Sawant said that while domestic LPG supply remains adequate, the state is presently facing an 80 per cent shortage in commercial gas supply. As a result, industrial gas connections have been temporarily halted.

Despite the constraints, the Chief Minister assured that piped gas supply across the state will continue without interruption.
The government is closely monitoring the situation and expects the supply chain to stabilise soon, after which normal distribution of commercial LPG is likely to resume.
