The elections to the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) saw more results being declared, with candidates from two different panels securing victories in their respective wards.
Krishna Shirodkar (Milind), a candidate backed by former minister Atanasio ‘Babush’ Monserrate and the Bharatiya Janata Party, won the election from Ward 18.

Meanwhile, Jack Sukhija of the Ami Panjekar panel secured victory from Ward 17.
With these results, the Babush-backed panel continues to maintain a strong presence in the Panaji civic body, while the Ami Panjekar panel has also managed to secure representation in the council. Counting and declaration of results for other wards continued amid tight security.
