The 13-day Shimgo Festival celebrations at Virdi Sakhali concluded with the traditional Homkund (sacrificial fire pit) ceremony, marking the culmination of the annual festivities.
During the ritual, devotees known as Dhond undertook the symbolic trial by fire by walking across the burning embers as part of the long-standing tradition associated with the festival. After all the devotees successfully completed the ritual, the presiding Goddess was ceremonially carried across the flames, signifying the completion of the sacred observance.

Following the Homkund ceremony, the Shimgo Festival officially came to an end after divine counsel, known as Kaul, was granted to the village devotees at the Mahadev Temple Virdi Sakhali.
