The Acute Diarrhoeal Disease (ADD) situation in Dabolim is now under control, with no new cases reported, Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said.
Rane stated that a swift and coordinated response was launched to contain the outbreak, with multiple health teams deployed on the ground. Efforts have included extensive surveillance, inspection of water sources, and awareness campaigns to educate residents on precautionary measures.
Health officials have been actively monitoring affected individuals while ensuring timely medical care and support. Measures such as promoting the consumption of safe drinking water and maintaining hygiene have been emphasised during outreach drives.
According to the minister, the combined efforts of various departments have helped stabilise the situation, preventing further spread of the disease.
Authorities continue to remain vigilant, with ongoing monitoring and preventive steps in place to safeguard public health in the affected areas.
