Margao Municipal Council (MMC) Announces Major Upgrade Plan
The Margao Municipal Council plans to reconstruct the Ganapati Puja mandap and staff restroom at the Municipal Garden, with the project to be taken up by GSIDC due to funding constraints. Margao MLA forwarded the proposal, approved for execution by Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) using PWD funds.

Consultants Appointed, Plans Ready
GSIDC has appointed consultants and prepared detailed redevelopment plans. The project aims to modernize the culturally significant garden while improving accessibility and facilities.
