Kumar’s move to the Rajya Sabha comes after he resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council (MLC) on March 30, signaling a transition in his political responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Nitin Nabin, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar, has dismissed any speculation of differences within the National Democratic Alliance over the appointment of a new Chief Minister.

He stated that the alliance remains united and that there is no disagreement regarding leadership in the state, even as Nitish Kumar prepares to assume his new role in Parliament.
