In a major step to improve mobility within Verna Industrial Estate, the Goa Industrial Development Corporation, in collaboration with the Verna Industries Association, has launched a dedicated electric bus service operating loop routes throughout the day.
The eco-friendly initiative was flagged off by Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco in the presence of Managing Director P Pravimal Abhishek and other industry leaders.

The EV bus service aims to provide seamless and sustainable connectivity for thousands of workers within one of Goa’s largest industrial hubs. Officials said the initiative will significantly improve daily commuting while reducing the carbon footprint.
In addition, Goa-IDC announced plans to introduce girls’ hostel facilities to support women employees working in the estate, further encouraging workforce participation.
The move is expected to enhance overall infrastructure, promote sustainability, and strengthen industrial growth in the Verna region.
