The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the Class 10 Board Examination (Session 1) results for 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 93.70%.
According to official data, girls have once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 94.99%, while boys recorded 92.6%. The examinations were conducted between February 17 and March 11, 2026, with nearly 25 lakh students appearing across the country.
Students can access their results through multiple platforms, including the official websites cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Results are also available via the DigiLocker and the UMANG app, which allow students to download their digital marksheets instantly using their credentials.
To check results online, students are required to enter details such as roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and a security PIN. The board has also enabled alternative access methods, including SMS and IVRS services, to ensure wider accessibility.
The availability of digital platforms like DigiLocker has significantly eased the process, allowing students to quickly retrieve their official scorecards without delays. The CBSE marksheets downloaded through these platforms are considered valid for academic and admission purposes.
With the declaration of results, students and schools are now preparing for the next academic steps, including admissions and further counselling processes. The board has advised students to carefully verify all details on their marksheets and contact their schools in case of discrepancies.
