Delhi Cop Fires Gun, Delivery Agent Killed Another Injured

A shocking incident unfolded in Delhi’s Dwarka area early Sunday when a police constable allegedly opened fire following a minor argument, leaving one man dead and another injured. The incident took place in Jafarpur Kalan around 2 am, shortly after a small birthday gathering had concluded.

According to police, Rupesh, a daily wage worker, had hosted a celebration for his son’s second birthday, attended by about 20 people. As the event wrapped up, most guests began leaving, while a few stayed behind, chatting and waiting for transport. Around six individuals were reportedly seated on two-wheelers near the venue when the accused, identified as Neeraj, approached them.Neeraj, a head constable and a tenant living roughly 50 metres away, is said to have picked a verbal fight over a trivial issue.

The argument quickly escalated. In a sudden turn of events, he allegedly pulled out his firearm and fired at Pandav Kumar, a food delivery agent, who was sitting on a motorcycle.The bullet struck Pandav in the chest, passing through his body and hitting another man, Krishna, who was seated behind him. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Doctors declared Pandav dead on arrival, while Krishna is currently undergoing treatment for abdominal injuries.Police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The accused has been identified, and further legal proceedings are underway as authorities examine the circumstances that led to the firing.
