Commuting in Goa is a nightmare due to daily traffic congestion because of bad and potholes-ridden roads. The potholes-ridden roads are posing a challenge to the motorists. Due to battered inter-sections, the vehicles move bumper-to bumper where the problem is highly pronounced. The portion of the inter-section towards Agassaim to Cortalim Junction and vice-versa has become a big challenge and issue to travel daily for work and other activities.
Even tourists are also suffering for the same. The traffic congestion caused by potholes may lead to wastage of fuel and increasing air pollution, releasing of carbon monoxide and other pollutant by congested car account for environmental and health problems which range from nose running to global warming.
The government is recovering so much of tax from us but none has been utilised till date. Now days, the potholes have become major attraction for all of us including the tourists. Whom to blame for this?
