Residents of Tiswadi Taluka, including Defence establishments, Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), and parts of Ponda Taluka, will face restricted water supply on May 13 and 14 due to urgent pipeline interconnection work.
According to officials, the work involves the interconnection of 700 mm and 600 mm diameter conveying mains near St. Francis Xavier’s Chapel.

The maintenance activity is being undertaken to strengthen and streamline the water supply infrastructure in the region. Authorities have advised residents and institutions in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during the temporary disruption period.
Normal water supply is expected to resume after the completion of the interconnection work.
