To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, Goa Police conducted a series of awareness programmes across the state, reaffirming its commitment to building a drug-free society.
The campaign featured awareness sessions, anti-drug rallies, public outreach initiatives, and drawing competitions, attracting enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and members of the public. The events aimed to educate people about the harmful effects of substance abuse while encouraging collective action to combat the drug menace.

Throughout the programmes, participants promoted the messages “Say No to Drugs” and “Nasha Mukt Bharat – Drug-Free India”, emphasizing the importance of prevention, awareness, and community involvement in eliminating drug abuse.
Goa Police said the statewide initiative reflects its continued efforts to spread awareness, engage the community, and strengthen the fight against illicit drugs through education and public participation.
