Residents fear that continued rainfall could lead to further soil erosion and trigger additional landslides, potentially posing a risk to motorists and pedestrians using the road.

The Sanvordem Congress has called on the local panchayat, Sanvordem MLA and Disaster Management authorities to conduct an immediate inspection of the affected area.

The party has also urged the authorities to undertake necessary preventive measures without delay to prevent the situation from worsening during the monsoon.

Locals have sought timely intervention to ensure the safety of road users and prevent further damage to the hillside and surrounding area.
