A woman GHRDC staffer was allegedly caught with suspected ganja concealed inside a thermos while reporting for duty at Colvale Central Jail on Tuesday morning.
The woman was reportedly intercepted by IRB personnel during security checks. The thermos was said to weigh around 650 grams, including the container.

During a subsequent search of her locker, three mobile phones, three ATM cards, a PAN card and an election card were also reportedly recovered.
Police said the woman allegedly fled while the inquiry was underway. Colvale Police have launched an investigation into the incident under PI Sanjeet Kandolkar, with the case being monitored under the supervision of Jail Superintendent Suchita Dessai.
