The Pernem Forest Department successfully captured a crocodile at Warkhand after locals reported sightings of multiple crocodiles in the Warkhand-Veluwada area.
Locals had reportedly spotted between two and four crocodiles in the area, prompting the Forest Department to set a trap to capture the reptiles and address concerns among residents.

With the assistance of local Panchayat member Sabaji Parab, the forest team managed to successfully trap and capture one crocodile.
