Two persons, including a 23-year-old woman, died in separate accidents in Vasco on Monday evening.
In the first accident reported near St Andrew’s Junction, Vasco, a 42-year-old pillion rider from Zuarinagar-Sancoale, died on the spot after a tempo ran over him.
According to Vasco Police, the accident occurred when Harichandra Lamani accidentally fell off his motorcycle and was crushed under the tempo, which was behind the motorcycle.
In the second accident reported near Mangor Junction, Naziya Rafik Sayed died on the spot, after she was knocked down by a speeding tempo.
