MAPUSA: Four exciting Second Division play-off matches in store in the North and South of Goa on Tuesday. Going into the last round of matches, Mundivel are the only team guaranteed an inter-district play-off place after collecting two victories against Maina Sports Club 2-0 and United Club of Telaulim 4-0 to give them 6 points.
Mundivel face Chicalim Youth Club at Tilak Maidan. The later have collected only one point but still have a chance of qualifying if they manage to win and other results go in their favour. The other two teams looking to qualify when they meet at Nagoa ground are United club of Telaulim who have three points and Maina Sports Club who have only one point.
In the North, Laxmi Prasad Sports Club who have 4 points, will take on fellow Bardez neighbours Nagoa Sporting who currently have three points, at Poriat ground, Calangute.
At Sangolda ground, it will be the Ilhas clubs battling when Vaddy Sports Club who have only pride to play for after not securing any points so far, take on Young Boys of Tonca who have a good chance of making the next stage having collected four points in the kitty.
The top two teams from North and South will qualify for the inter-district league set to kick off on Friday.
