PANJIM: The Goa State Human Rights Commission today recorded statements of three Nigerian nationals, who among 49 others fellow nationals are jailed in connection with the riot last week, after they requested the commission to listen to their 'grievances'.

PANJIM: The Goa State Human Rights Commission today recorded statements of three Nigerian nationals, who among 49 others fellow nationals are jailed in connection with the riot last week, after they requested the commission to listen to their ‘grievances’. 
Anane Innocent, Olcoro Ndidi and Sunday Onye had gone on hunger strike insisting that the commission officials speak to them. A four line letter was then faxed to the commission. 
The Commission Secretary visited the Aguada Jail, where the alleged accused are lodged this afternoon and recorded their statements, which will be submitted to the Commission chief on Tuesday.
