PANJIM: The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is likely to present State Budget 2023-2024 on March 28.
Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai on Friday summoned the Budget Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly from March 27 to 31.
The week long Budget session will see the chief minister tabling financial statement for the year 2023-2024 on the second day of the session.
Sawant will thereafter take Vote on Account. The Budget would be passed during the monsoon session likely to be held in July-August.
The State cabinet had earlier this week accorded its approval for summoning of Budget Session. The session will have five sittings including private members day on Friday, March 31.
The winter session of the Goa Assembly was held in January.
