Following the installation of a sign by GIDC and LT that traffic is to be diverted via Betim, Malim and entry into Panjim, I fail to understand how the huge flow of traffic is going to pass through this route. Right now its bad enough and this diversion will make it worse to get into Panjim. To me it looks like a lack of foresight, where a plan to manage traffic was not thought of. I am sure that the traffic police were not taken into confidence regarding this diversion. We really don’t need a new bridge at this point of time as the traffic proposed to be diverted with this bridge can be managed by better roads and traffic signals. This is waste of tax payers money!
