Government must come up a proper censor board in order to maintain peace and preserve the culture of Goa. Nowadays we have seen many controversies taking place in the form of various fields such as dramas, nataks and writers. No one have the right to take the name of the person without permission and to abuse someone in public for his personal benefit. Remember the age-old Goan artistes such as M. Boyer, Alfred Rose, Jacint Vaz, Robin Vaz, and even Lorna songs. The songs had meaning and were based on human feelings and were remembered by generations.
Now most of the songs are based on personal attacks and no one remembers the songs for long.
Freedom of speech and expression may be fundamental right, but it should be within the limits. It’s time for some serious introspection.
