It refers to demand of family of Superintendent of Punjab Police SP Baljeet Singh killed in militant-operation for government job for all the three children of Baljeet Singh suspending cremation of the body till the demand is met.
The demand is partially justified when a permanent rule should be there for government job to one of the family members of police persons killed in such operations rather than for all the three children of Baljeet Singh as demanded presently.
Such setting of norms is essential for ensuring bread and butter for the family of those having sacrificed their lives in service to the nation, and to avoid any such protests by family-members of the victims.
