Unemployed Graduates

Every toddler commences with schooling at an age prescribed and said for kinder-garden. Modest or fancy schooling is determined by family income. Overall majority of the kids make it to the school in our state in comparison to other neighbouring states. A bulk gets through high school and many make it to college. We never lacked in terms of providing education but is the content taught and knowledge imparted worthwhile to secure newly graduated kids?
We provide education and make every effort to reach out to the needy by ensuring it is affordable, available and meets the need of the student. But is the content taught in the educational institutions good in quality? Is the mannerism focused on application and not on cramming for exams? It isn’t .
Every kid strives in the herd to secure place in a college and everybody does with harmony as the competition is sleek. Once in college it is stumbling to mug up and get high scores which isn’t very tough as it is made sound. Failing in these exams require art as it is super easy and least problematic. As usual procedure follows kids photocopy previous years question papers, jot down the pattern of repetitive questions and sail through. This is the true phenomenon that occurs and the thousands that pass out each year are not even capable with their degree to apply practically what they learnt. More importantly the curriculum stresses on theoretical subjects and imparts out dated data as the syllabus is hardly revised to meet the on-going changes.
What is the whole point of higher education if it doesn’t upgrade a student what he had it learnt in previous years and in fact degrades his thought process?
Apart from application of the knowledge  these kids are not assured of jobs suiting their education qualification. Not even ten percent of the kids who get through their final years lend up with decent jobs. Naming the ones who do get wouldn’t side-line the mass which is left out.  If your parents are wealthy enough you go abroad or out side the state for higher studies or bribe and secure public sector jobs within the state. And the left out section is compelled to take private sector jobs which does not ensure job security, exploits their workers with uncertain working hours and small waking allowance.
Why can’t we upgrade our teaching standards which will enhance campus recruitments and thus ensure employment to many of the kids who graduate each year. Aren’t the authorities capable to ensure desirable minimum working allowance for all those who operate in private sector so that they get paid for the wok that perform and not be exploited and left demotivated.
We need to scan every new upcoming educational  institution in order to ensure that it will contribute towards betterment of child’s future and not stagnate them. It isn’t vital to collect degrees from educational institutions and it is not worth to do so, if at the end you aren’t able to reap benefits out of the education you receive. We need to channelize the educated youth towards betterment and secured future.
