All 16 Ministers in Gujarat Resigns Ahead of Cabinet Expansion

All 16 Gujarat ministers resign ahead of Friday’s cabinet reshuffle led by CM Bhupendra Patel. Current council has 17 members; BJP leadership sees recent changes.

A day before the planned cabinet expansion in Gujarat, all 16 ministers except Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel submitted their resignations on Thursday, BJP sources confirmed. The cabinet expansion is scheduled for Friday at 11:30 AM, according to an official release.

The current council has 17 members, including CM Patel, with eight cabinet-rank ministers and the remaining as Ministers of State (MoS). Gujarat’s 182-member assembly allows for a maximum of 27 ministers.
