Indian Air Force and Coast Guard join forces for maiden scuba diving mission off Vijaydurg coast

The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Coast Guard completed their first-ever joint scuba diving expedition, ‘Forging Bonds Beneath the Waves’, off the Vijaydurg coast in Maharashtra.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Coast Guard successfully carried out their first-ever joint scuba diving expedition off the Vijaydurg coast in Maharashtra. The week-long mission, titled Forging Bonds Beneath the Waves’, commenced on October 8 and saw 20 divers from both forces undertake precision dives at Angria Bank, an ecologically rich underwater plateau in the Arabian Sea.

The expedition was launched aboard ICG Ship Sujeet and flagged off by Air Vice Marshal Manish Khullar, ACAS (Org & Cer), and the Commander of Coast Guard District HQ Goa.
