Security forces on Monday launched a major crackdown on an interstate terror module, recovering around 2,563 kilograms of explosives from another house in Haryana’s Faridabad. Preliminary investigation suggests the material is ammonium nitrate.
The latest recovery was made from a residence in Fatehpur Taga village, where further investigation is currently underway.

Earlier, around 360 kilograms of explosives were seized from another house in the same area, taking the total haul to nearly 2,900 kilograms, along with arms and ammunition.
The Faridabad Police and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a joint operation that exposed a terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Authorities confirmed the arrest of seven individuals, including two doctors. A case has been registered under the UAPA Act, BNS, Explosive Substance Act, and Arms Act.
Those arrested include Arif Nisar Dar alias Sahil, Yasir-ul-Ashraf, and Maqsood Ahmad Dar alias Shahid (all from Nowgam, Srinagar); Molvi Irfan Ahmad (Imam of Shopian); Zameer Ahmad Ahanger alias Mutlasha (from Ganderbal); Dr Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie alias Musaib (from Pulwama); and Dr Adeel (from Kulgam).
Officials described the network as a “white-collar terror ecosystem”, involving radicalised professionals and students in contact with handlers based in Pakistan and other countries. Funds were reportedly raised under the guise of social and charitable causes, while the accused also helped identify and radicalise recruits, arrange logistics, and procure materials for IEDs.
