Rohini Encounter: Delhi-Bihar Police Kill Four Sigma Gangsters, Gang Leader Ranjan Pathak Involved

In a major crackdown on organized crime, a joint team of the Delhi Police Crime Branch and Bihar Police carried out a high-intensity encounter in Rohini on Wednesday night, resulting in the deaths of four notorious gangsters associated with Bihar’s Sigma gang.

The operation also involved the gang’s leader, Ranjan Pathak, a resident of Sitamarhi, Bihar.

The encounter took place during the intervening night of October 22nd and 23rd, 2025, at around 2:20 a.m. on Bahadur Shah Marg, between Doctor Ambedkar Chowk and Pansali Chowk in Rohini. The joint police team successfully engaged the suspected criminals, neutralizing the threat posed by the gang.

Authorities have described the operation as a significant step in curbing the activities of organized crime syndicates from Bihar operating in the capital.
