The parents of Siya Goyal, who is accused of murdering her fiancé Ketan Agarwal along with her alleged lover Chetan Babulal Chaudhary, have called for the strictest possible punishment if she is found guilty by the court.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Siya’s mother, Pooja Goyal, said that justice must prevail irrespective of family ties. She stated that if the allegations against her daughter are proven, she should face severe punishment, adding that she should be pushed from the same spot at Lohagad Fort from where Ketan allegedly fell to his death.

According to police, 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal was allegedly pushed from Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra’s Sahyadri mountain range by Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary. The incident was initially reported as an accidental fall during a trekking trip, but subsequent investigations led to allegations of murder.
Pooja Goyal said her daughter had never expressed any unhappiness or concerns regarding her relationship with Ketan. The couple was reportedly scheduled to marry in November, with wedding plans already underway at a palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Expressing grief over the incident, Pooja said the tragedy had devastated two families rather than one. She remarked that the loss of Ketan had not only shattered his family but had also brought immense pain and suffering to her own family.
The case continues to be under investigation, with authorities examining the circumstances surrounding Ketan Agarwal’s death and the alleged involvement of the accused.
