After days of deliberations, the Congress on Thursday announced RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial candidate. Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani was named the alliance’s deputy chief ministerial face, with Congress leader Ashok Gehlot adding that more names could be considered for deputy CM posts after the elections.
