A 15-year-old boy from Belagavi, Karnataka, is feared to have drowned while visiting Delta Waterfall at Surla on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the boy has been identified as Aditya Dilip Kumar Satpati. He had reportedly visited the waterfall along with five friends, who are believed to have accessed the site from the Karnataka side of the Goa-Karnataka border.

Following information about the incident, personnel from the Valpoi Police Station and the Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot and launched a search and rescue operation.
As of late Sunday evening, the boy’s body had not been recovered. The search operation is continuing with the assistance of police personnel, fire and emergency services, local volunteers, and other agencies.
