Panjim, March 4: Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths on Friday arrested two alleged drug peddlers in separate raids at Anjuna, late on Thursday night.
The two peddlers are identified as Jai Bahadur from Nepal and Krishna Bahadur Chetry from Assam.
According to a senior officer, Jai was arrested with 1.145 kgs of Charas worth Rs 1,14,500. Hours later, the team raided yet another place in Anjuna and caught Krishna with 275 grams of charas worth Rs 27,500.
Both arrests were made on a tip-off. They have been remanded to police custody for interrogation.
