Speaking to the press, Deputy SP Mahesh Gaonkar stated that the police were looking out for two women who are part of the accused’s gang. The accused are involved in various robbery and kidnapping cases.
5 charged with gang-rape
CALANGUTE: Anjuna police have slapped gang-rape ‘charges on the five men arrested for sexually assaulting two Delhi girls. After the girls recorded their statements with the police, they and the accused were sent to GMC, Bambolim for medical examinations, which confirmed rape. The police have also attached the motorcycles of the accused.
