A 58-year-old man, Sebastian V. Dias, was miraculously rescued after falling into a 40-foot-deep well in Aldona early Thursday morning. The Fire and Emergency Services team reached the spot at around 6:37 am and successfully pulled him out by 8:30 am after a well-coordinated rescue operation. The prompt and efficient effort of the team — Suraj Shetagaonkar, Govind Desai, Richard Trinidad, Bhagwan Palni, and Shahu Shirke — ensured Sebastian’s safety.
He was later shifted to a nearby hospital for medical observation. Authorities praised the team for their timely response and teamwork.
