PONDA: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa unit, on Wednesday, visited the site of the truck drivers’ agitation at Vadakade, Usgao, and assured to support their demands for a hike in ore transportation rates.
Addressing the truckers, AAP Goa secretary Valmiki Naik alleged that the Congress and BJP are agents of mining companies and are neglecting the State, and hence, Goans could not expect anything from them. He also claimed that both parties were accepting funds from mining companies during elections and added that it was high time to send them home as they had cheated Goans on many issues.
