MARGAO:  Moments after polling ended in Zilla Panchayat elections, many a candidate, their polling agents and their political masters must have gone in a huddle to analyse the polling trends and their election prospects.
In Benaulim constituency, however, dhirio lovers made a beeline near the Benaulim Bendye junction to watch a bull fight arranged meters away from the Benaulim-Varca road.
The assembly of a large number of people, and vehicular parking alongside on the main road, should have attracted the attention of the Colva police, but in vain.
Sources said the bull fight did take place at the venue, but when Herald called up the Colva police to throw light on the banned bull fight at Benaulim, the cops as usual feigned ignorance.
Despite repeated attempts to contact Colva PI Uttam Raut Desai, he was not available on his Cell phone.
