CALANGUTE: In a shocking incident which has exposed lapses at the Central Jail, a prisoner was found possessing a mobile phone in the jail at Aguada-Sinquerim.
According to reports, Rajinder Singh, who is undergoing a sentence at the Central Jail, Aguada, was found in possession of a China-made mobile phone.

Singh was reportedly using the mobile phone to communicate with his sister and mother from the jail. The mobile phone was recovered on a surprise raid by jail authorities.
Calangute Police has registered an offence under Sections 66-C & 66-D of Information Technology Act and is investigating the case.
