Anjuna Police have arrested Ashish Rahul, 34, a history-sheeter and proclaimed offender who had been absconding for the past year and evading court proceedings since 2013.
Rahul was traced and apprehended in Morjim, Pernem, following a coordinated police operation. After his arrest, he was produced before the court and has since been remanded to judicial custody.

Police officials confirmed that Rahul had multiple cases registered against him and had been actively avoiding trial for more than a decade. Further investigation is underway.
