MARGAO: Sunaina Goyal, a resident of Sao Jose de Areal, has filed a complaint with the Superintendent of Police, South Goa, regarding repeated criminal trespasses into her property. She has alleged that despite numerous complaints to the Maina-Curtorim Police Station, no action has been taken to address the ongoing harassment she faces.

Goyal reported that her property has been repeatedly targeted by unknown individuals who have damaged property and committed theft. She expressed concern that these incidents, occurring frequently, have created a dangerous environment for her and her workers, who now face potential threats to their safety.
The incidents reported include thefts and property damage that occurred between midnight of August 15-16, August 22-23, and August 26-27, this year. Goyal noted that these occurrences have become more frequent, with damage including broken compound walls and a damaged electricity metre box, causing a disruption in her power supply. In addition, the miscreants scattered broken glass all over, putting her and her employees at risk of injury, she lamented.
In her complaint, Goyal highlighted that the inaction by law enforcement has emboldened the offenders and requested immediate intervention from the police to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of her property and workers.
