An attempted robbery at the Devrai Indira Jewels gold shop on Tuesday evening was thwarted after a brief struggle between the shop owner and the would-be thief. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM, when a man entered the premises armed with a hammer.
According to eyewitnesses, the intruder attempted to intimidate the owner, leading to a scuffle inside the store. Unable to overpower the shopkeeper, the accused fled the scene empty-handed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the altercation.
