Bad road led to an accident between two cars at the newly constructed missing link road

Two cars were involved in an accident at the newly constructed Missing Link road on Loutolim Highway on Thursday morning, the cause being bad roads. The accident victims alleged that the road was haphazardly repaired by putting tar and covering it up with cement, which was 4 inches above the road level. Instead of putting up a barricade or reflectors at the site, plants were put as a warning sign, thus making it impossible for commuters to foresee the bump on the road. The accident victims held the government and the contractor liable for the faulty roads that led to the accident, which could have been fatal.
