The bail applications by three of the four accused in the Margao bomb blast case will come up for hearing in the South Goa Sessions court on Tuesday.
Accused Vinay Talekar, Vinayak Patil and Dilip Mangaonkar had moved the Sessions Court for bail.
Meanwhile, the Superintendent of police of National Investigating Agency Vijayan and NIA’s legal counsel S F Faria today prepared the reply to the bail applications filed by the three accused.
The reply will be filed in the court on Tuesday.
Hearing of the bail plea was adjourned at the last date after the lawyer for the accused persons sough time to advance the arguments.
Meanwhile, there were speculations that one of the absconding accused would surrender to the sessions court on Monday. NIA legal counsel S B Faria, however, said that none of the five accused has surrendered either before the court or the NIA so far.
The NIA had filed charge sheet against 11 accused person, including the two deceased accused Malgonda Patil and Yogesh Naik, besides Vinayak Patil, Vinay Talekar, Dhananjay Ashtekar and Dilip Mangaonkar and five other accused who are still at large.
