MARGAO: Taking strong objection to the ‘All Goa Alcohol Drinking Competition,’ marked on the social media, Auda Viegas of Bailancho Ekvott has appealed to Vasco police to stop the competition that would be harmful to health, as well as the well-being of the society.
The alcohol drinking competition is being promoted on the social media, which is scheduled to be held on December 19, at Vasco and offers prizes of Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000, and Rs 5,000. Besides, 20 consolation prizes of one Vat 69 bottles are also being offered.
In her letter to Vasco police, Auda has asked to check the promotion in the social media and verify if the event is actually happening or is it just a prank. She also objected to the promotion of alcohol Goa Liberation.
