He was produced in court and remanded to 3-day police custody and will be produced before the Children Court, Panjim on September 26. He has been charged under section 365, 342, 376 IPC, section 8 (II) of Goa Children’s Act, section 25 of Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 200, and section 3 read with 4 of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
Bangalore native held for raping minor
MARGAO: Mohammed Majar, a 22-year-old native of Bangalore but residing at Madicotta, Cuncolim was arrested on the night of September 22, in a case of kidnapping, rape and threatening a minor girl.
