MAPUSA: One more case of land grabbing through forging of signatures has been recorded at Nagoa, Bardez.

A complaint has been filed against Bengaluru resident Venkatesh Hegde for allegedly executing the deed of sale in respect of landed property Survey No. 51/24 of village Nagoa, Bardez Goa admeasuring 2,000 square metres by forging signatures of landlord Thomas Michale Fernandes and his wife Lina Fernandes. The accused impersonated as the landlords before the Civil-cum-Sub-Registrar of Bardez and executed the deed of sale.
The alleged fraud occurred before May 2022. A complaint to this effect has been filed by one Sajive Bhatia from Gurugram.
