Accused Saurav Luthra, who is lodged at Colvale jail in connection with the Birch Nightclub fire case, was allegedly attacked by fellow inmates, officials said.
Following the reported assault, Luthra was taken to the Mapusa District Hospital, where he underwent an X-ray examination. He was later shifted to Asilo Hospital for additional X-rays of his knee and ribs.
