Two scooter riders sustained minor injuries in an accident involving a car and two scooters at Cacora in Curchorem on Friday.
According to information available, one of the scooter riders, who was reportedly drowsy, lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the car. The rider fell onto the road but escaped serious injury as he was wearing a helmet.

Another scooter rider, who was following the car, also lost balance and fell during the incident, sustaining minor injuries. Both injured riders were given medical treatment.
One of the scooters was partially damaged, while the car also suffered damage in the collision.
Sources said the alertness and quick reaction of the car driver, who steered the vehicle to the side, helped reduce the impact of the crash. Otherwise, the accident could have resulted in more serious consequences.
Police are looking into the incident.
