PERNEM: Ramesh Shetye, a farmer from Chandel, here, was injured after attacked by a bison.

The incident occurred when Shetye had gone at his cashew plantation for some work. The bison suddenly came charging at him and gored him.
Shetye cried for help and managed to drive the animal away.
He was immediately rushed to the primary health centre at Casarvarnem and later admitted to a private hospital at Mapusa for further treatment.
