On Sunday at around 12 noon, Range Forest Officer of Vasco Range Eusebio Braganza, while proceeding to Sarzora, noticed a man moving suspiciously with a gunny bag (jute bag) on Sarzora road.
When RFO Eusebio inquired what he was carrying, he started running towards the field and escaped into the forest area after dropping the sack. Later, Eusebio called the wild life rescue volunteer Damodar Polaji and both of them brought the turtle and released it into the waters of River Sal at Dongorim, Navelim.
