MARGAO: Maina-Curtorim police have registered an offence under section 304A IPC for causing death by rash and negligent act against proprietor of Mohiddin Metal Industries, IDC, Loutolim for death of a worker who was working on a crusher at IDC-Loutolim.
A complaint was filed by Salman Ali, native of Assam and resident of Rasaim-Loutolim, that Islam Mujavadin, native of Assam and resident of Rasaim, who was working at the crusher died of head injury when he was trapped in the belt of a machine. Mujvadin was rushed to Hospicio Hospital, Margao, where he was declared brought dead according to police. Further investigation is in progress.
